Jacky Purtill is a mixed media artist who creates imaginative works of art that are inspired by texture, abstraction and form. Having honed her art after thirty years as a freelance artist, crafts person and educator, Jacky has created a multitude of public works of art across the UK and taught many people to be creative through her numerous workshops.
Painting and mixed media are a passion of hers, allowing her to express her imagination by embracing natural forms, texture and colour. Experimentation is the key to all she does, as it best captures her creative thought process.
At the end of the day, her artwork is an extension of herself, a pure expression of her personality and imagination in paint and mixed media.
